The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control, under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has opened a new office in Arua City to improve access to passport services. This initiative is part of a broader plan to decongest the Kampala office, enhance service delivery, and decentralize immigration services across the country.
While commissioning the office, officials emphasized the importance of upholding integrity in service delivery and ensuring that Ugandans are given priority.
