Dancehall artist Mudra D Viral has shared his thoughts on the massive success of Etania, admitting that replicating her recent achievement won’t be easy for any DJ in the near future.
Etania made headlines after selling out Lugogo Hockey Grounds on Saturday, April 4th, pulling in a huge crowd and cementing her place in Uganda’s entertainment history.

Speaking about the show, Mudra noted that while musicians traditionally hold a stronger position when it comes to pulling crowds, Etania has broken new ground.
A musician will remain stronger, but I think Etania is the first female DJ to do that. Overall, I think it will be hard for another DJ to do something like that.
However, Mudra was quick to clarify that such a feat is not entirely impossible, just difficult to achieve.
According to him, success at that level demands immense effort, consistency, and a strong connection with fans.
He also credited Etania’s personality as a key factor behind her breakthrough. Mudra described her as humble, energetic, and approachable, qualities that have helped her build a loyal fan base.
I think Etania as a person is blessed. Her character stands out, she’s never in fights, she’s energetic, always smiling at people, and doesn’t show off to her fans.
Despite the scale of her achievement, Mudra revealed that he was more impressed than shocked by the turnout. He believes Etania has steadily built herself into a powerful brand over time, and her success reflects a shift in the entertainment industry.
According to him, the industry is evolving, and it’s no longer just musicians who can command massive audiences.
