Iryn Namubiru does not rule out the possibility of working with her nephew, Aaronx, on a music project – but just not yet.
In an interview with NRG Radio Ug, Iryn Namubiru shocked listeners when she revealed that renowned singer and songwriter Aaronx, real name Aaron Mukwaya, is her nephew.
“I am his aunt from the mother’s side,” the legendary songstress stated, very much to the surprise of Mr. Henrie and Prim Asiimwe.
When asked if they have ever worked on a music project together, Namubiru said Aaronx is very talented and can write her a song but he is still young and progressing well in his career.
He can, but he is really, really young. he hasn’t written for me a song yet, but I know that he is very, very talented.
Aaronx has previously written songs for a couple of big star and collaborated with the likes of Sheebah, Chosen Becky, and most recently Vinka.
