St Mary’s Kitende draws Morocco, DR Congo and hosts Zimbabwe | 2026 CAF African Schools Championship

Uganda’s representatives at the 2026 CAF African Schools football championship in the boys’ category, St Mary’s Boarding School, Kitende have known their group opponents.

Hassan Zzungu’s coached charges were drawn in group A alongside hosts Zimbabwe, Morocco and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Group B has Tanzania, Zambia as well as two West African countries Senegal and Benin.

Females:

For the girls, hosts Zimbabwe are also in group A along with Morocco, Zambia and Democratic Republic of Congo.

Group B for the girls has three West African countries; Ghana, Guinea and Burkina Faso, alongside CECAFA zone representatives, Tanzania.

Uganda’s team was officially off at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende by the commissioner in charge of physical education and sports Rev. Canon Duncans Mugumya who was joined by officials from the Uganda Secondary Schools Football Association (USSSA) and Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).
