Olila High Relegated After Points Deduction

Olila High Women Football Club have been relegated from the FUFA Women Super League following disciplinary action by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).

The decision comes after the FUFA Disciplinary Panel docked the club three points and three goals for failing to honour a league fixture against St Noa Girls FC on March 22 at Wankulukuku Stadium.

According to the ruling, Olila forfeited the match, with maximum points awarded to St Noa Girls.

“The club has also been sanctioned with an immediate deduction of three points and three goals and warned that any further failure to honour fixtures will result in exclusion from the league and additional sanctions,” FUFA said in a statement.

Following the points deduction, Olila remain rooted at the bottom of the table with just one point after 17 matches.

With five games left to play, the side is now mathematically unable to survive relegation. They sit 16 points behind safety and cannot catch Lady Doves FC, who occupy the survival position with 17 points, even if Olila win all their remaining fixtures.

This is the second time this season that Olila have been punished for failing to fulfill a fixture, having earlier forfeited their match against Uganda Martyrs Women FC.

In similar developments, Amus WFC have been deducted two points and two goals, and a 500,000 shilling fine, after hooliganism and an assault on a referee during their Women Super League match against Kawempe Muslim on March 21 March 2026.
