Uganda U-17 Women’s National Football Team head coach Sheryl Botes has named the final travelling squad for the African Qualifiers of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2026 against Zimbabwe.
The team left the country on Friday morning ahead of the first leg is scheduled for Sunday, 12th April 2026, at Ngoni Stadium in Harare.
Coach believes the team has had adequate preparations following the intensive preparations over the last couple of days.
“The camp has allowed us to put together a strong and well-prepared team. The girls are ready to compete against Zimbabwe. I have observed their performances in the COSAFA Cup and know they are a strong side, but our focus is on achieving a positive result away from home,” said Coach Botes.
