- Amus College School 4-0 Olila High School
Amus College School successfully defended the boys and girls’ football titles during the 2026 Teso region championship that climaxed on Easter Sunday, 5th April in Ngora.
The boys’ team won 3-0 over Ngora High School in the final with John Brian Otim scoring a brace whilst Rashid Iddi got the other goal.
They had earlier on overcome rivals Bukedea Comprehensive School 4-2 in post match penalties after a goal-less draw in normal time during the semi-finals.

For the girls, Amus College School whipped Olila High School 4-0 with Faith Akol notching a hat-trick whilst Charity Katusiime scored the other goal.
In the semi-finals, Amus College School had won 4-3 over Bukedea Comprehensive School after a non-scoring draw in normal time.
Focus and attention swiftly turns to the national championships due in Lira city (boys) and Seroma (Lira).
“I congratulate the players for the job well done. We are now getting set for the national championships” Richard Malinga, the head coach for the boys’ team remarked.
Buddo Secondary School is the reigning national champion. St Noa Girls School Zana is the national defending champion for the girls.
