London’s Wireless Festival will no longer take place after the UK government denied Kanye West entry into the country.
The rapper had secured all three headline slots for the 2026 edition, but the UK Home Office blocked his entry over his past antisemitic remarks and ruled that his presence would not serve the public good.
Organisers reviewed the situation and cancelled the festival after losing their main act.
They also confirmed that ticket holders will receive full refunds.
In the weeks leading up to the decision, political leaders, community groups and corporate partners raised concerns about Kanye’s involvement and increased pressure on the event.
The cancellation ends what many expected to be one of the biggest music events of the summer and shows how quickly controversy can reshape major platforms.
