Lira City — Rivertree Technologies has officially launched Kanenoo.com, a new digital media platform aimed at bringing Ugandan radio, television, and audio content together under one online destination.
The platform allows users to stream live radio stations, TV channels, podcasts, and other audio content from across the country, making it easier for audiences to access local media through the internet. Kanenoo.com is accessible via web browsers and is optimized for both mobile and desktop users.
According to the company, the platform was developed to address the growing demand for digital access to local media, especially among young audiences and Ugandans living abroad.
Speaking during the launch, Oluk Mark, Founder and CEO of Rivertree Technologies, said Kanenoo.com was created to improve visibility and reach for local broadcasters.
“Many local stations produce quality content but struggle to reach wider audiences online,” he said. “Kanenoo.com brings these stations together in one place, making it easier for listeners and viewers to access local voices.”
At launch, the platform hosts dozens of Ugandan radio stations, including community and regional broadcasters, with plans to expand to more TV channels and exclusive digital content in the future.
The company also noted that Kanenoo.com is expected to benefit broadcasters by offering new digital opportunities such as online advertising, audience insights, and extended reach beyond traditional FM and terrestrial broadcasting.
Rivertree Technologies said the launch of Kanenoo.com is part of its broader effort to build locally driven digital products that respond to the changing media consumption habits in Uganda.
Kanenoo.com is now live and open to the public.
