Police in Kampala have launched investigations into an incident of violence involving YouTuber Shalom Kaweesi and singer Derrick Biswanka.
According to Racheal Kawala, the spokesperson for the Kampala Metropolitan Police, the matter involves two separate but related cases reported at different police stations.

Kawala revealed that Kaweesi filed a complaint at Najjera Police Station, accusing Biswanka of assault. In a counter-accusation, Biswanka also reported a case at Kessington Police Station in Kyanja, alleging simple robbery against Kaweesi.
In the second case, Biswanka’s driver claims that Kaweesi attacked him and took his car keys during the altercation.
Police confirmed that investigations into both cases are currently ongoing.
Once inquiries are complete and evidence gathered, the case files will be forwarded to the state prosecutor for legal guidance on how to proceed.
