Mudra D Viral Reveals Music Isn’t His Passion, Plans to Quit When Rich

Singer Mudra D Viral, real name Alfa Ssebunya, has revealed that he wouldn’t be making music if he were rich, as it contradicts his faith.

During an interview with Mr. Henrie, Mudra was asked whether he feels the industry has given him enough attention and respect for all his contributions and the foundation he has provided to some of the talents as a writer and musician.

He openly revealed that he hadn’t received the appreciation he felt he deserved, but made it clear he didn’t need it. His end goal in music was only to earn money; if he ever became rich, he would quit. According to the dancehall star, this explains the reasons why he has rarely released new music lately.

Despite flourishing in the industry, Mudra explained that music as a career was never his passion, mainly because it goes against everything his religion preaches about.

“I feel like I don’t need it because I didn’t come for the respect. Just need money out of it, and if I get it, you will never see me on the microphone again. I have never liked music, and it is not my passion. If God gave me money, I wouldn’t be releasing that much music, and if I got money, I would quit for real. I’m a Muslim, and that is one thing I’m proud of, and I cannot deny that in our religion, this is not fancy,” Mudra said.

Mudra has always been open about his career as a musician and how it conflicts with his faith as a staunch practicing Muslim man. In all his conversations, he has been honest, saying that if he had other options besides music, he would be willing to explore them.
