The management of Wisdom High School Kole has dished out a total of shs41 million to the top-performing students of the 2025 UCE and UACE examinations.
This achievement also saw the school ranked number 12 nationally in the recently released 2025 UACE results.
The awards took place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the school located in Akalo town council, Kole South, Kole district. The ceremony combined a thanksgiving prayer for the UCE and UACE results, as well as a welcome ceremony for both Senior One and Senior Five students for the 2026 academic year.
Addressing journalists, the Executive Director of Wisdom High School, Ambrose Ogwal, thanked the school board, PTA, students, parents, and the community for their collective efforts in producing such remarkable results.
“At Wisdom, we teach students both intellectually and spiritually,” he noted. He further explained that out of the shs41 million, staff members were also awarded in recognition of their wonderful work in the 2025 examinations, aimed at motivating them for their role in achieving these organic results.
Ogwal Ambrose also issued a challenge to schools ranked 1st to 11th, which are ahead of Wisdom. He stated that none of those schools charges less than shs2 million per student, whereas Wisdom charges only 1 million yet produces results comparable to those of schools charging over shs2 million to shs3 million. “This means we are giving our parents value for their money,” he emphasized.
Ogwal added that the school is currently promoting sports, noting that in 2026, the girls’ football team has qualified to become champions in Kole district. He also revealed that the school has a total of 1,934 learners for the 2026 academic year.
In addition, the school is constructing a mega stadium with a seating capacity of over 10,000. He described it as a multi-year project expected to cost between shs900 million and shs1 billion, with an initial phase currently utilizing shs189 million.
Among the top-performing 2025 candidates who walked away with over shs750,000 each are Opio Innocent, Ocen Amos, Ajalo Ronald, Angwech Daphine, Akello Robina, Atim Mercy, Emey Gabriel, and Ojok Joshua.
