Former Firebase Crew member Mark Bugembe, popularly known as Buchaman, has dismissed claims that he is ‘unfit’ to serve as a Presidential Advisor.

The singer dismissed the claims, saying he is both mentally and physically capable of executing the role diligently.

Buchaman explained that his appointment is significant because, as a Rastafarian, he represents the Rasta community and people from the ghetto, whose voices are often unheard at the highest level of leadership.

According to the artist, his role is to advise the President on the need for “One Love” and inclusivity, especially for marginalized communities.

Buchaman also spoke about the situation in Uganda’s ghettos, noting that while a lot of progressive work is being done, communities continue to face major challenges.
