It is astonishing how reigning FUFA Women Super League Champions Kampala Queens have gone off the boil this season, especially in the second round.
The Queens of Soccer have struggled to replicate the performance and results they achieved last season and completely out of the title race following their recent form.
The team has managed to register only three wins of the eight second round games played, two coming against relegated teams Asubo Ladies and Olila High School.
In the last five games, Kampala Queens have lost three, drawn one and losing the other.
Last weekend, they gave up the title fight after falling to She Corporate in Jinja and this has been coupled with by yet another defeat, this time at home to Amus College.
Amus College put up a remarkable performance to secure a 2-0 win over Kampala Queens in the game played at MTN-Omondi Stadium.
Zabinah Namboozo bagged a brace to guide Amus to victory. The reult leaves Kampala Queens third on the table on 32 points, 15 behind leaders She Corporate with three games to play.
Amus College on the other hand move up to seventh place on 22 points.
